ConnecTLV, the flagship project of the Jewish Agency connecting young adults from around the world to Israel, is hosting a unique panel of senior representatives from various parties across the political spectrum.
The panel will be conducted in English.
The panel representatives are:
Stav Shafir – Haavoda
Ayelet Shaked – Habait Hayehudy
Elazar Stern – Hatnua'a
Ofer Shelach – Yesh Atid
Ifat Solel – Meretz
Ariel Konstantyn – Am Shalem
Now that you have made Aliya and are real Israelis, we feel it is important to prepare you for this democratic right. A right that is important for every active citizen- the right to vote and to make a change.
This panel will include a discussion on topics pertaining to Olim. Your questions will be welcomed.
Date and time: Wednesday; January 16, 2013, 19:00-22:00
Location: Beit Daniel Education and Culture Center, 62 Bnei Dan St., Tel Aviv.
->Public transportation - Sheirut cab # 5 stops outside the entrance of Beit Daniel. In addition, Dan line 25 which stops on Yehuda HaMaccabi street between Namir Road and Weizmann street, and various Dan and Egged buses which stop on Namir Road and Rokach, and a 5 minute walk from there.
->Parking options: Reading lot and Yermiyahu lot; there is some blue & white street parking.
19:00 – Welcome and registration (*Coffee and refreshments will be provided)
20:00 – Part one: introduction to the Israeli democratic and electoral systems
20:30 – 21:45 – Part two: Panel of senior party representatives
21:45 – 22:00 – Question and answers
